Given the nature of this place, I would say those files are suitably outdated. We aren't the same people anymore.

[If she looked at her own file, she could say easily that much of it isn't quite accurate anymore.]

[She's actually laughing because she can hear the deadpan in Tess's voice.]

Alright then.

[She doesn't actually know which rover Isha's in, but it doesn't take all that long to look up, and none of them are that far away from each other. So it doesn't take too long for her to meander her way over to the right one and knock as politely as she was able (not very at all) on the door.]

[Well that is louder than she expected, but it doesn't take her very much time to open the door.]

I would offer tea but I am sadly in short supply of the stuff. Come in if you like.

That's too bad. I'd offer to trade for some but I only ended up with coffee.

[Had seemed more important at the time. Besides, the kind of tea she was most fond of wasn't likely to come steaming from a mug anyhow.

She takes the invitation easily enough, stepping up into the comparative quiet of the rover, looking around with only barely concealed interest.]

I think some of the local plants are supposed to be alright for that sort of thing, if you've got the time and patience for it.

[The rover is mostly a shade of deep purple, or at least her corner is. Could you believe she managed to actually make it look slightly over the top with its paint job and matching deep purple sheets?]

I'll leave that to Sebastian, he seems fond of making those sorts of things. When did you get coffee?

[The best she can offer for Tess to sit for now is on the edge of a bunk that is clearly not hers and clearly she doesn't care.]

[She'll decline, thanks Isha.

Instead Tess stands firmly in the center of the rover, continuing to give it a look. Not quite bad, doesn't want to be that obvious, but a little skeptical maybe. It was all a bit much. A lot of purple. A lot of everything.]

The demon? Apparently he's pretty domestic for pure evil.

[She still made her mind to keep her eye on him but truth be told there were more troublesome people around. At least more obviously troublesome.]

When I picked my supplies. Figured it would be good to trade.

[It and the vodka. Besides, you couldn't hunt either of those.]

It seems pure evil has taken a break in preference of simply continuing to exist and eat within its own rules.

[Really, no punishment for breaking a contract? She still finds it hard to believe.]

Not a bad trade.

[She leaves Tess then for some moments, to rummage for the spare knives. She hadn't used the throwing knives much, as she had a preference for her dagger and the folding knives.]

Mind if I tag along to watch?

[Said from the slight distance of her bunk.]

Watch me hand these over to two stupid kids? If you like, but I wasn't actually planning on handing them over tonight.

[It was getting late, and she had to get ready for the idiotic excursion she'd agreed to get on top of tomorrow.

Besides, she figured that once a day was enough talking to Dio.]

You probably don't want to anyway. You met Dio and Luciola yet?

And here I thought they were ready to start playing with sharp objects.

[She returns with the 6 throwing knives, along with a few folding knives and the dagger she'd made from the frostbrood teeth.]

You're making me reconsider my offer on that alone. What should I know about them?

Pretty sure they can handle the knives, at least well enough not to lose them or cut themselves up.

[Pretty sure. Luciola, at least.]

But Dio's a pest. Hard to explain, actually. Loud, weird as hell. He's some sort of lord or something, you know how rich folks get.

[Crazy got to be eccentric when you had money.]

Luciola's a nice kid though. They're not quite human, I don't think. Real pale, pointy ears. Their files are full of a shitload of terms that don't mean anything to me.

Yes I know how those get, unfortunately.

[She stole enough from those types.]

Likely not, but that should be no surprise. Many of us aren't quite human here or at least they're particularly skilled humans.

Fair enough. Means I don't got a clue what they're really capable of, though. Luciola at least uses some kind of ah, spear thing. Neither of them know how to shoot a gun, neither.

[Other problems (not her problem, but if it was easy to fix then why not?).]

I'll let 'em know who their benefactor is. The quiet one's the grateful type, at least.

Fantastic. I suppose I'll have to see them in action to know what they can actually do.

[It's easy to make someone learn something new...

No it's not. Hopefully they're willing to learn.]

I'm sure you'll get the chance. Not like this place has given us all that much time to sit on our heels.

[She'd seen them in action already, and they just got here. Of course, action was relative. Used them as human shields more accurate.]

Get a chance to test your new toy yet?

[With a pointed look towards the dagger.]

No. Warriorhead seems very stressed or disturbed, I'm not sure if to ask for the upgrade yet.

[It would be unwise, she thinks, to ask when he's coming back from... whatever he did.]

He's certainly missing.

[Which is all she's got to say about it. He'd been right and wrong and right again but didn't even have the good grace to be here to see it. Not like it was anything she figured he felt he owed any of them.

She held out her hand, expectant, bag at the ready to drop the blades in.]

Thanks again. I'll personally kick their asses if they fuck them up.

[She drops the knives in gingerly.

At her comment, she smirks hard.]

That almost sounds as entertaining as it would be. Don't try to steal all the fun.
