I'm not a relic; that would imply I'm old.

[and he's not that old thank you]

You would be considered a historical feat in my world. Still alive after a thousand years? So many would be jealous.

I don't know if it's considered "still alive" when I haven't actually lived that long.

For once stop being so technical. And that means something coming from me.

Being technical is important, especially when you take into consideration my current . . . state.

Dead? [Don't sugarcoat it.]

Undead. [there, he said it]

[She clicks her tongue.] I didn't come here to discuss the finer points of your living situation.

You're the one who started it off by calling me a relic.

You're the one who ruined my fun of a good story. But you still are a relic.

I refuse to agree with that.

You're over a thousand years older than I am, you should be in a museum.

I beg your pardon.

[She's grinning so hard and trying to stifle it but it's not going very well.] You should beg for my pardon.

You really should stop making me older than I am. I'll gain a complex at this rate.

[She kisses the edge of his lips.] You know I don't mean it. Mostly.

Mostly. [he turns his head, though, and sits up enough to kiss her properly - quickly - before laying back down]

[She settles in more properly next to him, halfway sprawling as if this is indeed her own throne.

He is, decidedly, more comfortable than he ought to be.] I should probably be going. [She's obviously making no move to do so, but somehow she thinks Warriorhead will spring a mission on her or the rest of the team in the dead of night.] As much as I don't want to.

Well, I'm not going to make you.

[he says, helpfully. Not that he'd be much conversation later on; his voice was already back on its way to fading again, and it'd be terrible if he couldn't talk during a mission. Well, maybe not terrible, but inconvenient. Either way, though]

[She wouldn't mind the silence, honestly. She has half a mind to fall asleep right now.]

[he just smiles at her, wide and innocent]

[She just gives him a look before closing her eyes.
