These are both quite accurate assessments! Though in fairness, his "maturity" is more a sign of his station. He inherited his title quite young, so he is expected to act in the capacity of an earl.
Well, I would compare it to running a business. There are financial and legal responsibilities an earl undertakes with their title, and it falls to them to manage these.

Most do not take their title until they are at least legally an adult, but my young master insisted at the age of twelve. Surprisingly, he does quite good work as well.

Another message in the wrong place? My goodness. My young master will be quite cross at this...
[ good thing he doesn't care!! ]

Though regardless, I am rather amused to see that you have recognized this as well, Miss Devan.

He has an attitude and a fondness for pretending to be an adult. It's amusing.

I suppose so. I wouldn't know anything of it.

I don't have the patience for that. Congratulations to him, though I hope your master learns soon that his title means nothing here.

That is a lesson he will have little problem learning. On the other hand, letting go of the perks of his title... That may be more difficult.
no subject
Well that will prove interesting at least.

Quite. I only ask that you not tease him too terribly, since it would be a shame for him to come running to me.
no subject
But of course. It would be most displeasing if he felt unwelcome to the team.
[Though if he went running to Warriorhead, she has a feeling that she'd only get a mild scolding.]

Then I can only wish you luck! He is rather fun to tease, though it sounds as if you have discovered that much already.

I think it irritated him when I told him I would be fond of being a jester as part of a hypothetical demotion.
no subject
I imagine so. That is more or less his worst nightmare, I would guess.

He will learn very much on our team.
